WNY Maritime Charter School is committed to increasing student learning and progress through research-based practices that are considered "best practices" in the field of teaching.  These "go-to" pillars, extrapolated from Gallup research, are important for classroom management and instruction.  These areas can mean a lot of different things for each teacher in each classroom, so long as we are meeting the needs of our cadets. However, with a keen understanding of best practices that can be carried out school-wide, our cadets can then experience high quality teaching and learning throughout the entire campus in a unified, professionalized spirit that promotes excellence.
